# Detach Audio from a Video Clip

If you want to work with the audio element of a video clip separately, you can detach the audio by looking for the Detach option in the inspector, or by using the keyboard shortcut Option + D

# Change the Volume of Audio

You can use the slider or the keyframmable input next to it to adjust the volume of audio.
